Community Services (Grants and Scholarships) Shared with Monica Smith

The Community Service Committee serves the Tahoe community through two primary areas: Grants & Scholarships and Community Events. Grants & Scholarships: The club awards grants to qualified 501(c)(3) organizations serving the Tahoe area and provides annual scholarships to deserving local students pursuing higher education. These programs support community needs, encourage leadership, and invest in the future of our region. Community Events: Rotary members actively participate in and support community events that strengthen local partnerships and promote fellowship. Key events include: Breakfast with Santa in partnership with the Kiwanis Club and Tahoe City Public Utility District Parks & Recreation Department. SnowFest in Tahoe City, supporting one of the area's premier winter celebrations. Halloween Events, helping provide safe and enjoyable activities for local children and families.
