Don Fuller
District Governor Nominee 2028-29
Rotary Club of Cameron Park
Don Fuller of Shingle Springs has been a member of the Rotary Club of Cameron Park since 2011. He served as president during 2022-23 and is now enjoying the fun of Area 6 Governor. While president, Fuller was the driving force behind a new fund-raiser at the El Dorado County Fair. Don is on the REGL board and attended REGL as a mentor in 2025. He serves on the District Succession Planning committee and is also chair of the district club administration committee for the 2026-27 year. Don currently serves as Youth Chair for the Cameron Park Club and has enjoyed restoring youth programs in the area. Fuller is a Paul Harris Fellow and member of the Polio Plus Society.
Don retired after 45 years in the electrical industry, working at Westinghouse in the nuclear and power generation businesses, and serving as Marketing Manager of the Nuclear Services Division. Also while in Pennsylvania he was elected to 2 terms on the Mt. Lebanon School Board and served as President. Don worked at the California Independent System Operator (CAISO) based in Folsom as Director of Strategic Alliances. He also served as Incident Commander in the CAISO’s emergency preparedness structure. He attended Oregon State University (Go Beavs!) in Electrical Engineering and Widener University, obtaining an MBA specialized in finance.
Don and Linda live in Shingle Springs on 5 acres. Linda, a Master gardener, has had their (her!) garden featured on the Assistance League garden tour three times. Don helps in the garden, where he has gained expertise in irrigation system design and repair.
In his “spare” time, Don enjoys golf, photography, woodworking, and a fun book club he started.
