PEACE INITIATIVES
District 5190 has a new
PEACE COMMITTEE

Consider actions your club might take to encourage peace in the world:

  • Apply for a District Grant for a school anti-bullying effort to introduce to the students in your community the problems of bullying and how to handle conflict peacefully from an early age.
  • Apply for a District Grant and help a community domestic violence shelter by providing food, clothing, legal advocacy, and counseling.
  • Encourage club member contributions to The Rotary Foundation targeting the Peace and Conflict Resolution area of focus to fund peace efforts internationally.
  • You and your club members can also promote peace individually by joining the Rotarian Action Group for Peace:

The Rotarian Action Group for Peace gives Rotary members resources and support to advance world peace and turn ambitious ideas into life-changing realities.
