Ethics Initiative

Rotary and Ethics

Ethics is part of the DNA of Rotary, and as such, impacts each of our activities and programs. Integrity is one of Rotary’s five core values. Integrity is included as the third principle in the updated Rotary Code of Ethics. It is a predominant theme in what we think, say and do in living the 4-way test. Promoting integrity and ethics by developing an Ethics Program within our Rotary Clubs just makes sense. It seems logical that as we nurture and develop our youth as future leaders, we continue to nurture and develop our new and current Rotarians to enhance and promote ethical leadership at the club level. We can develop a program that coordinates and cooperates with other avenues of service to ensure that high ethical standards are an integral part of all of our endeavors.
